  • Abstract
    This paper studies the fiber grating temperature demodulation system of smart garment. Based on the analysis of fiber grating temperature sensing principle and the comparisons of the advantages and disadvantages of several common fiber grating demodulation method, this paper proposes a demodulation method of filter grating body temperature signal by using tunable Fabry-Perot (F-P) filter; This paper designs the optical path of fiber grating temperature demodulation system, including power, distributed fiber grating sensor, tunable F-P filter and photo detector; It designs the circuit of fiber grating temperature demodulation system by using dual processors, including main controller circuit, co-controller circuit, photoelectric conversion conditioning circuit, tunable F-P filter driving voltage amplifier circuit, memory extended circuit, display circuit, reset circuit and power circuit; This paper proposes a filter grating body temperature signal processing algorithm of smart garment. The proposed algorithm has the advantages of low computational complexity and fast processing speed; put up an experimental platform, measures the sensor sensitivity of demodulation system when it is above 50pm/°C through the experiment, its temperature detection precision is 0.2°C, and its resolution is 0.1°C, which achieves the expected design requirements.
