Abstract :
The paper shows the results of study of cylindrical helical antenna with a variable angle of winding turns. The expressions of calculation of radiation characteristics of a spiral radiator, the results of computation of radiation characteristics and input characteristics in the frequency range of 2,5 ... 4 GHz have shown that the developed antenna has high ellipticity throughout the frequency range and stable input resistance.
