Abstract :
The recent results of development of technological gyrotron complexes in IAP RAS are presented. Second harmonic 24 GHz CW gyrotron has been developed and tested. Record-breaking efficiency of 60% at 6kW output power has been obtained by optimization of a profile of magnetic field and single-stage energy recovery of the spent electron beam. The electron beam with pitch factor higher than 2 and velocity spread about 10% was experimentally obtained using electron gun of a new type.
