Abstract :
The problem of eigenmodes of an open transmission resonator with gyrotropic ferrite medium is theoretically solved and existence of surface magnon polariton (SMP) modes with field high concentration on border of the ferrite resonator is determined. All possible combined modes of existence of surfaced and volumetric modes are analyzed, dependences of their resonant frequencies vs. medium material parameters and resonator and ferrite layer geometrical sizes are determined.
