Abstract :
This paper presents a method for assessment of thermal properties of multi-layers structures using contrast analysis of temperature response registered with photoacoustic technique. It is based on the analysis of the amplitude spectrum of temperature contrasts. Photoacoustic signal is registered in time domain with disadvantageous signal-to-noise ratio. Due to that the new approach for excitation signal synthesis was proposed. Using a composite excitation signal generated in proposed way it is possible to considerably higher signal-to-noise ratio.
