Abstract :
The principle and testing method of waste wood based panel connectors detecting system based on X-ray are introduced in this paper. In order to fix the shortcomings of small rightness, low contrast, slow gray change and serious noise pollution which X-ray image suffers from, the detecting image of waste wood-based panel connectors was processed by using the method of mathematical morphology. In this paper, the basic operation process and algorithm flowchart of mathematical morphology are proposed; the connectors were identified and features of their detecting image were extracted using cluster analysis. The analysis results of the experimental data show that the background information of X-ray image can be eliminated, and the information of the waste wood based panel connectors can be kept, and the characteristic parameters of the connectors can be identified simultaneously. The results provide a foundation for the future study of reprocessing of waste wood based panel.
