Abstract :
High power supply equipments for frequency and power transforming are designed due to the state that voltage and frequency are incompatible with the status of ships in China´s ports. Firstly, this paper makes some reviews about the power systems of the world typical ports. Then the configurations of the mobile power supply system are given. For the stituation of high utilization rate and large change of parking place of China´s berths, the supply unit is put into a standard container. It´s moving conveniently and very useful. Because of the changes in tidal range and load at ports,a flexible cable reel is designed. According to the practical application of the project we estimated the environmental and economic benefits of onshore power. It shows that this project is in practical applications with good promotion prospects.
