Abstract :
Detection of T waves is an important and complicate part in the analysis and interpretation of electrocardiogram (ECG). A detection scheme based on wavelet transform-amplitude-slope is developed in this paper. It employs the wavelet transform modulus maximum pairs to locate the T wave region, and combines with the amplitude and slope compensatory criterion to detect the various T waves, including the ascending T waves and biphasic T waves. The scheme presented is applied to make detecting T waves experiments for ECG data from MIT/BIH database. And T wave detection rate of 93% and sensitivity of 97% has been reported.
