Some Questions about the New Rural Endowment Insurance

The establishment of new rural endowment insurance system ends of the history of farmers who did not have old-age security. It has a historic meaning to change the farmers can only rely on the traditional family pension. It is also means that we have a key step towards the goal of o the “universal sense of security”. There are some aspects worth improvement of the new rural endowment from system designing to implementation of the results. This paper attempts to summarize the problems of the new rural endowment insurance from the sustainability of system, increasing the value of pensions, addressing population aging, whether cope with the actual situation in rural areas and other problems. On this basis, the paper put forwards some comments about how to set up and improve the new rural endowment insurance.
