Abstract
The User Authorization Query Problem have been developed to find an optimum set of roles to activate so that the set satisfies the user´s permissions request and all role constraints within the RBAC system. This study proporses a new DNA-based computing algorithm mainly based on Adleman´s DNA operations, it can be used to solving the UAQ problem with linear time complexity. There are three phases to this molecular solution: permission initial, remove the illegal roles, and roles space generation. We first encode permissions of each role by using relatively short DNA strands and then eliminate the illegal roles according to requested permissions and constraints. We then generate all possible roles set which without inherit hierarchy.
