Abstract :
Digital reparation of artworks based on digital image processing technique has become a new hotspot. It is active for the development of the cultural relic protection, reparation and relative technology to study the method of applying computer image process into the reparation and enhancement of ancient fresco. The image process including dust removing, color changing, and local statistical enhancement is introduced in this paper for ancient fresco, and the optical parameters are searched automatically and the frescos are repaired under the genetic algorithm according to the judgement criterion of image definition. Diffusion remedy algorithm is proposed to amend the broken images by simulating the animal antenna. Experimental results show that it is effective to the fresco reparation.
