Abstract :
This paper describes a theory of image stabilization algorithm based on Region of Interest (ROI), to select effectual blocks. Using these blocks which contain edges and angular points to find the relative displacement of the near two frames will be easy and accurate, the amount of calculation will also be reduced. This article mainly discusses the rationale of this algorithm. The analysis of the first frame will be done before the image stabilization, it chooses the region contains more information, the information will be signed for the block matching and cause less mismatch. After the matching, it corrects the picture to the right position. Using this block matching algorithm, the stabilization of high-definition video can be performed.
