Abstract :
Warship type recognition depends on the full-scale and accuracy of template library. Searching and matching speed is in the inverse ratio of space complexity, so reducing space complexity is efficient. Based on the warships´ three-dimensional models, a new real-time generation method for template is presented in this paper. Firstly we construct warship three-dimensional models off-line. Secondly depending on the pose of object images from sensors, we can get the same view on the Vega software platform and in the last matching and recognition can be implemented. By mathematic analysis the new method can greatly shorten matching time and is feasible.
