Abstract
At present, the main method of fracture diagnose is that the doctors give patients the diagnostic conclusion and treatment plan based on the information of X-ray testing results and comprehensive analysis according to pathology knowledge and clinical experience. In view of the existing subjectivity and artificiality of the artificial interpretation, we put forward an algorithm for automatic interpretation of fracture injure site in the X-ray image. The algorithm conducts vertically integral projection for each preprocessed bone region in X-ray image, and combines the projection curves. After that, the AO coding standing for the fracture injure site will be presented based on analysis of subsection variances of curves. The simulation result showed that the algorithm is feasible.
