  • Abstract
    This paper presents a study on the damage feature vector of the composite wingbox structures. In order to detect the damage of wingbox structure, a damage feature vector extraction method based on the lifting scheme is proposed for detecting damage from original signals. Structural damage feature vectors are constructed and calculated based on energy variation of the structural vibration responses decomposed by lifting scheme wavelet transform before and after the occurrence of structural damage. The results demonstrate that the energy feature vector is a good candidate index that is sensitive to structural local damage.
