  • Abstract
    A new auto focus method which is based on dispersion circle is proposed in an iris acquisition system. Combining with lattice infrared source and reliable coarse pupil location algorithm, the introduced method not only has good performance in unimodality and sensitivity, but also has obvious advantage in real-time processing. The average single image processing time is less than one millisecond.
