Abstract :
Multi-agent systems can be applied to facilitate the integration of Distributed Generation and Demand-Side Management into electricity networks. A fully decentralised control approach is considered, and in this context the communication and adoption of agent intentions (“Intention Transfer”) is examined as a means of achieving a positive behaviour within a system where contracts to perform actions may not always be negotiated directly.
