Abstract :
To further solve the problem of deadlock in time management mechanism, an improved algorithm of GALT which synthetically considered the factor of lookahead was given. It overcomes the deficiency that the previous algorithm will lead RTI to lose lookahead when federate uses NMR (Next Message Request) to advance. The improved algorithm was discussed. Analysis results show that the improved algorithm not only can solve the problem of deadlock, but also can consider the effect of lookahead in every time-advance mode sufficiently even lookahead is modifying dynamically.
