Abstract :
Rectal cancer is one of common multiple gastrointestinal cancer. So far, implanting the permanent artificial anus after rectal cancer radical correction is an effective treatment. Since the anus can not control defecation and exhausting, the patients have different degrees of mental burden. Therefore, this article introduces a new type of intelligent artificial anus. This artificial anus is based on AT89C52 microcontroller control. It uses pressure sensors to detect whether there is excretion in the intestine. If there is excretion, AT89C52 will open ultrasonic sensor to detect and determine the nature of excretion and provide different warning information to the patient. The patient will decide whether to open the intestinal switch to defecate or exhaust according to these warning information. This new type of artificial annus solves the patients´ inconvenience to some extent in defecation and exhausting which are beyond the control.
