Abstract :
Structural building relocation is a complex dynamic process while the current study to the project was restricted to a specific project and most of the theoretical researches were focused on the rolling way to realize the relocation. The purpose of this paper is to formulate the model of frame structure building relocation by sliding way and to obtain the force in building elements under different conditions. This paper models building for 3 conditions of relocation with ANSYS software. In the analysis process, some dynamic processes of the building relocation were treated as static one, different constraints and support force were imposed on the model. By this way, horizontal moving and jacking up were assayed; it is also simple to predict the dangerous positions in the process of building movement. The method is practical to frame structure relocation and provide a theoretical basis for model optimization.
