Abstract :
In this paper a verified PSO is introduced. In the proposed version of PSO the dimensions of the velocities are increased. This verified PSO is compared with the conventional PSO algorithm using thirteen test functions. The verification done in PSO algorithm has made it much better in achieving the optimization goals. The improvement is specially seen in higher dimensions.
