  • Abstract
    Based on the in-depth research on random access procedure in WCDMA system, the paper proposes an acquisition method of Acquisition Indicator Channel (AICH).That method is grounded on the transmitted power offset between AICH and Primary Common Control Physical Channel (P-CPICH) to deduce the Decision Threshold of acquiring AICH. In the procedure of calculating the threshold, Fast Hadamard Transform is used to complete correlation that can reduce operations and improve the system´s real-time performance compared with the traditional correlation. Moreover, the paper provides the simulation on the MATLAB platform for this method, and verifies its feasibility.
