Abstract :
Thirty driving cycles are screened from forty three driving cycles provided in ADVISOR. All the maximum vehicle traction power requirement of the thirty driving cycles calculated on the basis of dynamics theory are less than vehicle actual traction power. Statistical results show that sedan HEV (hybrid electric vehicle)´s ideal proportion of the city driving, suburban driving and highway driving is 55%: 28%: 17%. According to the ideal proportion of the road condition, the optimum driving cycle is picked out from the thirty ones and is simulated on series, INSIGHT, parallel and PRIUS HEV models. The optimized torque load ratio and speed load ratio as simulation results are defined as the motor duty cycle which is dynamic efficiency test cycle for motor propulsion system of series, ISG, parallel and hybrid categories HEV.
