Abstract :
With the different parameters selection, Beta distribution can be transformed into various other distribution, ranging from simple distribution to complex distribution, from symmetrical distribution to asymmetrical distribution of the distribution. So Beta distribution is of highly adaptable, Beta Distribution is recommended to fit for the types of random variables distribution of Geotechnical Engineering. The random weighting method is employed to determine the four parameters of Beta distribution, which can more accurately estimate the four parameters, random weighting method not only solves the cumbersome iterative process of the conventional algorithm, but also avoid the non-convergence phenomenon in the procession of iteration, It is shown that the accuracy of random weighting method can meet the engineering needs, which possesses important practical significance of the project .
