Knowledge Management Structure in Growing: A Case Study on the Developing of America-Ventured SME in China

Based on the concept of Knowledge Structure(KS), Knowledge Management Structure(KMS) is proposed to include KS and KM. KMS corresponds with product structures in the different developing stage, forming the Fractal KMS; Organization innovation and the ability to develop new products is the company´s core competence, which consists of KMS factors, for instances, evolution of KMS from Production Process to technology to science structure, and management from physical to intelligent to cultural manager; Entreprise´s growth process is the same as their own innovative capability developing. This Case also demonstrates that the motive of SME´s growth is from the external competitive pressures, followed by the requirement to improve the productivity. Management outsourcing is a shortcut for international operations; To foster and maintain the enterprise´s core competence especially require matching Fractal KMS(FKMS).
