  • Abstract
    The brake system is the safety-critical subsystem of rail transit vehicle. However, the reliability test technology related to rail transportation equipments is much needed in China. In this paper, a certain Chinese computer-controlled electro-pneumatic brake system was selected to conduct reliability analysis by FMEA and BCEU (Brake Control Execution Unit) was determined the weak link of the brake system. Then, based on the results of the analysis, a reliability test of BCEU was attempted to be studied. Finally, the data came from the test was analyzed statistically to obtain the estimate of reliability index of BCEU by using stochastic point process.
