Abstract
Coagulation-Sedimentation process is to be used for advanced treatment of the effluent after secondary biological treatment of some petrochemical fiber company. By the study of jar tests, operating factors for petrochemical wastewater have been found out, including the optimum coagulant type, the best dosage and the best operating conditions. Mechanism of removing phosphorus was analyzed. The results show that the effluent is available to reuse with the removal rate of COD 59.28% and Phosphorus 90.44% after treatment under the best operating conditions, and the feasibility of coagulation-sedimentation process for advanced treatment of the petrochemical wastewater is verified.
