Analysis of Approaches to the Transformation of China´s Transportation to Low Carbon Economy

In recent years, the proportion of China´s transportation Industry energy consumption has been increasing. It is estimated that the transportation Industry will become the second largest energy-consuming industry. Thus, it is imperative to transform China´s transportation to low-carbon sector. Based on the analysis of energy consumption and carbon dioxide emissions of China´s transportation Industry, we elaborate the necessity for the low-carbon transformation of the transportation Industry, and propose the ways to the low-carbon transformation of China´s transportation to economy, which consist of the adjustment of energy structure, the reduction of energy consumption and using the advanced Science and Technology.
