Abstract :
Cemented soil mixing method is usually applied in reinforcement of soft foundation in Tianjin. A series of laboratory tests is carried out, and the basic mechanical parameters of cemented soil are measured. Laboratory test results of cemented soil mixing proportion of a project are introduced. Main factors influencing cemented soil strength have been analyzed by a series of contrast experiments with different cement ratio, different age, and different layers. Through the test, it can be found that the unconfined compressive strength of cemented soil is increased with the increased age and amount of cement, the correlations between them is better, the latter strength of the cemented soil can be forecasted through the earlier strength. Model of nonlinear stress-strain relationship of cemented soils is proved to be suitable and can be applied in further study of composite foundation stabilized by cement.
