            Abstract : 
A model having two layers of Multi-Agent systems was developed for a real production system which produces large-sized mechanical products. After analyzing and defining the types, functions and behaviors of Agents as well as interactive relationships among Agents, we developed a model based on two layers of MAS including global MAS and local MAS. Sequential logic was used to design the negotiation mechanism among Agents, and the general view of the workshop model was obtained by using UML sequence diagram. This model described real production situation and had wide application scope.
