Abstract :
Coagulation-microfiltration process was used to treat the wastewater containing silver from silver powder factories. Adopting sodium hydroxide as coagulants, four stages tests were conducted. The membrane fouling in coagulation- microfiltration treatment wastewater containing silver was researched. The effect factors of the membrane fouling, such as the volume of the effluent, the mixed liquor suspended solid concentration (MLSS), shearing force on the membrane surface, operational mode and so on, were analyzed. The test results shown that as the MLSS closed to critical mixed liquor suspended solid concentration (CMLSS), the membrane fouling resistance Rp increased rapidly; enhancing the aeration on the membrane and using intermittent operation could increase CMLSS value, and could improve the efficiency of membrane reactor.
