Abstract :
Lacking information instruction, small and medium-sized enterprises in China, which organize as industry clusters, are suffering from high costs and production disorder. Meanwhile, equipped with informationized systems, third party logistics firms are urgently seeking new businesses to expand. Under such circumstances, we propose a 3PL-based synergy strategy model in order to satisfy the needs of the two sides. This paper outlines the structure of this model and gives a brief introduction of how this model can be implemented. Also, a preliminary MIS (Management Information System) based on SOA architecture using various information technologies is provided, which will meet the needs of the model´s operation.
