Abstract
Abstract-A method of multichannel vibration data compression for induction machines based on quaternion discrete cosine transform (QDCT) were proposed in this paper. The three axis X,Y and Z vibration data were obtained by the multichannel sensor which placed On the testing point of the induction machine, X,Y and Z vibration data were constructed an pure quaternion sequence and was analyzed and compressed by QDCT, the low frequency components was gotten and to be the compression date. The experiment indicated that this method possessed well reconstruction and real-time, and provided a new method to data compression and feature extraction for multichannel vibration signal of induction machines.
