Abstract :
A critical problem facing the mechanical design community is that of bridging the gap between mechanical CAD data and finite element models. In this paper, We developed a 2D finite element analysis (FEA) data creating system in which the data is generated from DXF (drawing interchange file) data, which is one of the most famous CAD data. The system is proposed and the usefulness of the system is clarified through the magnetic field analysis of an electromagnet and a permanent magnet motor.
