Abstract :
In virtual human simulations, there is no unified 3D human model standard. We propose a method of constructing layered virtual human motion model. This method is to use position information and angle information provided by sensors to construct skeleton model of virtual human. The skin model is formed by triangular mesh. The joints of virtual human are categorized according to the motion characteristics. Angle data from sensor are used to control virtual human animation and reconstruct the human body motion. The experiments have shown that the proposed model is suitable for using sensor data to construct skeleton model of virtual human and drive virtual-human in real time animation.
