Abstract :
Transport belt is the most widely used conveyor device in coal mine, the longitudinal rip of transport belt will bring great losses to coal production, this article design a detection system for longitudinal rip of the belt. The device capture images by CCD camera which is under the belt, and computer is used for analyzing and processing the signal of the collected image, by comparing the characteristics of the processed image, we can accurately detect the occurrence of longitudinal rip.
