Abstract :
This paper deals with optimal design considered a coil temperature to maximize a force density of double sided coreless PMLSM(Permanent Magnet Linear Synchronous Motor). Optimal current density which the coil temperature is reached an allowable temperature with heat transfer analysis was applied to optimal design of magnetic circuit for maximum force density. The heat transfer analysis results are compared with experiment results to verify the validity.
