Abstract :
This paper proposed an emergency drive method for EV in case of inverter failure. The proposed method is based on three phase motor driven by two phase inverter. By this method, the EV can be operated at the limited speed even in inverter fault condition. Experimental results show that performance of motor driven by two phase inverter is limited but enough.
