Abstract :
This paper manufactured a drive system to control 25kW In-wheel type IPMSM for EVs. Where, the In-wheel motor is a high-efficient and high-performance vehicle system to provide a new concept of platform to increase efficiency of vehicle systems and apply to environment-friendly vehicles by removing all the power train elements due to direct mounting high-performance electric motors on wheels. Therefore, this paper proposed the In-wheel motor for EVs and the control system for the drive system to control it, and it was verified through experiments.
