Abstract :
In this letter, the application of two different techniques for improved second harmonic filtering observed in single-phase phasor measurements, under offnominal frequency operation, is presented. The main advantage of the proposed methods is that it can be readily incorporated into the existing uniform sampling and fixed window length phasor measurement computation framework. The two approaches are compared against the three-point-average filter, showing improved performance.
