Some thoughts on Computer Aided Design in the graphic composition teaching

CAD (Computer Aided Design) not only brings convenience to the creation but also puts forward the new challenge to the teaching when it is applied to the course of graphic composition. The emergency of CAD provide a brand new way of expression of graphic composition, but also raise the concerning to tradition hand painted design. Can we only enjoy the convenience brought by CAD in the course? In fact, it is not true. CAD also provides fun of painting, chance of trace and brand new ways of thinking and expression for us as hand painting does. In this paper, based on the application of computer aided design on the necessity and superiority in the course of graphic composition, stressed the need to face CAD the existence value. Through the reasonable use of computer hardware and software, computer aided design in graphic composition plays its unique design tools.
