New exploration of modern furniture design based on ethical design

Furniture is an important component in people´s daily life, with the development of the society and enhancement of the production process, the furniture design is confronted with some problems which shall be solved urgently. Through the analysis of the present situation of the furniture design in China, aiming at the furniture features, the paper attempts to seek the breakthrough point from the ethics angle, introduces the theory of design ethics into the furniture design, and requests the designers to undertake the moral duty in the design, and to make contribution to the balanced and coordinated development of human beings, environment and resources.
