            Abstract : 
In this paper, a new conductor-backed coplanar waveguide (CBCPW) bandpass filter with U-slot defected ground structures (DGSs) is designed. Because of CBCPW structure, it is easy to be integrated with high frequency IC circuits and to do measurement work. The U-slot DGS not only provides a high Q factor, but also has a simple shape. Simulation shows that the filter has 2GHz 3dB bandwidth and 2.17-dB low insertion loss at peak transmission of about 33.5GHz.
