Abstract :
The paper is focused on description of various methods, used in decision support system BPsim.DSS. Paper starts with requirements for effective decision making, points out the role of simulation modeling systems in decision making. Next an abstract organizational-technical process is analyzed, its features mentioned. Paper continues with such process representation as a resource conversion process, notes the role of knowledge base in decision making, describes frame-based approach to knowledge representation. Multi-agent process model with InteRRaP architecture extension definition is defined in further sections. Finally, the BPsim.DSS, a decision support system, based on noted approaches, is described, including its architecture and features. The paper concludes with several deployment examples and achieved economical effect of this deployment.
