Abstract
In this paper, a method of adjusting trapezoidal fuzzy numbers matrix according as consistent rule is studied. The main idea is that a barycenter matrix is introduced in order to adjust the inconsistent matrix. In detail, if the consistency of barycenter matrix does not dissatisfy the requirement, we can construct consistent matrixes by the elements arranged in rows of the barycenter matrix, and then find out a matrix, which has the best closeness to the barycenter one, and mark out the row, thus construct a consistent trapezoidal fuzzy numbers matrix out from the corresponding row of the original trapezoidal fuzzy numbers matrix, finally combine the primary trapezoidal fuzzy numbers matrix with the consistent trapezoidal fuzzy numbers one. In the end, the method is illustrated with an example.
