Abstract :
The advantages of wavelet packets and their promising features in various application have attracted a lot of interest and effort, in recent years. In this paper, the notion of biorthogonal nonseparable four-variate wavelet packets, which is the generalization of orthogonal univariate wavelet packets, is introduced. A novel algorithm for constructing them, is presented by virtue of iteration method. The biorthogonality property of quarternary wavelet packets are investigated. Three biorthogonality formulas concerning these wavelet wraps are established.
