Abstract :
DRM is a technology for digital rights management that realizes trusted licenses, secure copyright permissions, and reliable environments or infrastructures in a broad sense. In this study, a CDN based D-DRM system is designed to protect digital contents and its copyrights in a CDN system environment, which has been recognized as the core of new network services. For implementing this system, a DRM package type is defined to provide stronger security for distributed and stored contents, and an operation procedure for the D-DRM system is proposed to interactively operate the system with the conventional CDN system. In addition, this study achieves a lightening process for the existing OPENSSL in order to support the safe data transmission between D-DRM modules, and an optimized ICN-OPENSSL module is implemented by replacing the existing OPENSSL with the encryption algorithm designed in this study.
