Abstract :
Digital Maize Planting and Management System is a kind of universal agricultural software to simulate maize yield. We redesigned the model framework to improve the practicability and maneuverability under the premise of retaining the model precision to the full, and applied it in Dingxing county, Hebei. The two years field experimental data from Heibei demonstration station was used to evaluate the function of experiential management mode. The system expresses good simulation performance for maize yield and yield components. All the relative errors are less than 5% except for the 2009 yield simulation with relative error of 6.4%.
