Abstract :
Cobalt-rich crust is an important submarine mine resource. It is particularly important to strengthen the international cooperation and communication and to realize the crust data sharing and resources evaluation method because of the high cost of crust sampling, the low degree of investigation and the just starting and exploring stage of resources evaluation methods. Application process and system framework of crust data sharing and resources evaluation is proposed in this paper, based on web service technology and geological statistics theory. We established three modules of dynamic link library, which can carry out variogram calculation, spherical model fitting and ordinary kriging calculation, and program four web methods that associated with crust resources evaluation on the server. Finally we carried out an empirical research with sampling data of a certain seamount in the Mid-Pacific and evaluate resources with ordinary kriging in the environment of VS.net.
