  • Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to prove the validity of wavelet theory. By comparing with traditional filtering and Fourier Transform Algorithm, we found that the wavelet theory has a good filtering effect, which has a simple mathematical operation, better data processing results and low requirement on data quantity. This method is suitable for online detection of rotor balancing. We find that the wavelet theory has a good filtering effect and demanded less dates, simple mathematical operation, and better data processing results. Wavelet transform is suitable for online detection of the rotor balancing. From the balance tests, we got some representative waveforms and experimental data. It is proved that the signal extraction algorithm is effective and engineering practicable. Much more satisfied results can be gained from wavelet method.
